"Yes," Ilya says, impatiently. "And you are very gay, so who is it you are kissing that you have to specify it's not gay? Is is Pike? Boiziau?" He casts a wild glance around the room. He intends to say ‘yes’, but what he says instead is, “No.” He swears he opened his mouth and formed the word ‘yes’, but that’s definitely not what came out. He tries again, hoping it was just some Freudian slip, but what comes out is, again, “No.”
Soulmates can't lie to each other. Somehow, this fixes absolutely nothing.

[Wiebe's smiles grows, his eyes traveling across the room as he begins to walk toward Luca Haas. He holds out his hand and Luca's already flushed face grows even more read as he reluctantly shakes his coach's hand back.]
