Shane closes his eyes and presses the pharmacy bag against his forehead. He has medication, clearance to play, and confirmation that the tumor inside his head is benign. In three to seven days, the lactation should stop, and this entire humiliating problem will become something he can pretend never happened.
Unfortunately, tomorrow afternoon, Ilya Rozanov will be waiting for him at his house. Shane plans to arrive, have sex with him, and return to the hotel before either of them can make the evening more complicated than it needs to be.
All Shane has to do is prevent the most observant asshole alive from touching his chest. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy, a voice in his head replies, sounding disturbingly like the one Hayden uses for his kids. Shane groans out loud and goes to find something to eat so he can take his first dose of medicine.

OR: The Voyageurs are in Boston for a game, and Shane is really struggling being in Rozanov's city after he left him on his couch. He goes out and gets drunk. Ilya finds out Shane is alone at a club and too drunk to stand and can't fight the urge to help him out.

If this is really happening, if Shane is actually by some miracle getting another shot at this, then he’s going to have to play this smart. His impatience to see Ilya again will have to be tempered. He’s not sure how time travel works, but he has the sneaking suspicion that one wrong move could unravel everything.
Ilya is alive.
Just the thought of it is enough to make Shane crack his first smile in a year.

Rozanov is staring at him across the few feet of space between them, gaze darting across his face quickly. “Las Vegas?” He finally asks, voice sounding smaller than Shane ever thinks he’s heard it. “What are you talking about, Las Vegas?”
God. Fuck. That’s infinitely worse, that Shane has carried this hurt for all these years and Rozanov - he doesn’t even fucking remember.
