Shane shakes his head before he even enters the room, seeing, unsurprisingly, Ilya leaned against the doorframe holding the garland in both hands directly under the mistletoe. “Is that so?” “Hmm, yes. Yuna said she wanted it on the mantle, and I don’t actually know where that goes.” he adds, sobering a touch with his actual question, but it doesn’t last long. “But I need you to come over here and help me. It is very important. For Christmas.” he adds and starts twirling the end of the garland with one hand. (ie. ilya is spending christmas with the hollanders for the first time and shane surprises him with misteltoe and ilya becomes a bit of a menace about it)

"I can't believe we actually made her, like that she's actually real and here with us," Shane whispered softly, not even daring to breathe too loudly afraid to wake their sleeping bundle of joy with the chubbiest cheeks known to mankind — the soft curls on her little head moving slightly whenever she shifted.
