Thinking about it, it made no sense, but he almost looked like— A clipped voice, slightly muffled by the door but with an unmistakable Russian accent confirmed her bewildered assumption. “Could have been worse,” she heard Ilya Rozanov say. When Ilya goes to visit Shane in the hospital in episode 5, Shane's mother sees him. They talk.
