  1. Ilya doesn't go into their game against Philly intending to hate Gritty, contrary to Shane's assumptions. He has it all worked out. It's just going to be a fun little bit that he does. Gritty has a menacing energy that should vibe well with Ilya's everything.

In their second year as captains of the Nordiques, Shane and Ilya have more challenges to face, including a team that is now aware of them as a couple, anxious new additions, flirtatious mascots, and a hockey world that is finally responding to change...

Direct sequel to domoy, wherein Shane and Ilya go to the Quebec Nordiques in this AU’s expansion draft and come out to the world, and Yuri, Yuuri, and Viktor move to Canada.

  2. June 2016

Shane hefts the Stanley Cup over his head for a second time, a numb joy settling over him.

The partners and families of the Voyageurs flood down to the ice in a rush. His parents have come down, visibly proud.

And yet this year, it somehow feels a little worse, because Ilya wasn't next to them, cheering in a HOLLANDER jersey.

After coming out as friends and revealing the figure skating rivalry in their families, Shane and Ilya must face the challenges of the coming years, while Yuuri and Yuri face dilemmas of their own...

In which I ask the question: What if Shane and Ilya went to the Quebec Nordiques?

A direct sequel to brátishka, featuring social media, texting, emails, and a whole lot of canon divergence.

    Extras start in Chapter 14!

  3. Sometimes, Ilya Rozanov is just a weird guy. Obviously, the Bears aren’t going to say that to his face, not when he’ll chirp them into oblivion for it, but sometimes it just gets out of hand.

Like the late night phone calls where he’s talking aggressively in Russian. The random knowledge he has offhand about how far you can throw a human being and have them come out okay. The Russian death metal he forces them to listen to, calling it family bonding. The scars he refuses to talk about.

Cliff Marleau thinks he might be in the Russian mob. The Bratva, or whatever they call it.

Ilya doesn't tell his team about his family until they've already invented a thousand conspiracies about it. Like him being in the mob. Or having rabies.

In which Ilya Rozanov and Yuri Plisetsky are brothers, and the world changes with the most minute of connections.

Now featuring Shane and Ilya's POVs on the canon divergence starting from chapter 5.

  4. The problem, Shane muses in hindsight, is that he commits to things too hard.

He puts his all into everything. He wouldn’t be who he is without it.

The fact that he can’t resist a challenge, even if it’s stupid, is more of the problem than anything else.

In which Shane has hidden talents, Ilya runs to catch up, the internet spirals, and Yuuri, Viktor and Yuri are dragged along for the ride…

  5. Hayden hated the guy. Hated him. Hated his stupid, smug smirk and the myriad of insults he threw Hayden’s way and the way he made fun of Shane like it was a funny game then looked him up and down like a piece of meat and his reputation of sleeping with everything that fucking moved and the memories of being slammed into the boards by him and quite literally everything about this Russian dickhead. And he hated that he was now going to have to do everything in his power to learn how to tolerate Rozanov because Shane was inexplicably and hopelessly in love with him, and Shane was his brother in every fucking thing but blood, and Hayden was not going to keep being responsible for that sad puppy look on his face every time he realized how poorly they got along. So far, Hayden sucked at it. Big time. --- It bothers Shane that Hayden and Ilya don't get along, so Hayden is putting in the effort to try and see these redeeming qualities Shane claims the guy has. Over the years it becomes easier and easier, until one day, he realizes he doesn't have to actually try anymore. or, 5 times Hayden realized he was starting to tolerate Ilya + 1 time they acknowledged they were actually friends now
