Unless she hasn’t heard any news, unless he’s dead at the crash site and they can’t identify his body, unless they- ”He’s okay,” His mom says the moment she answers the phone, barely even letting it ring one time and, yeah, she really does know her son. She knows that that had to be the very first thing out of her mouth before anything, otherwise Shane would spiral.
