Or: What if Ilya had gotten sick and thus not been playing during a Boston/Montreal game in Boston? What if Shane had come to take care of him? Shane can’t believe anyone else saw how besotted he always was, while Hayden can’t believe everyone didn’t. Ilya’s a dick, but he’s trying, something Hayden only grudgingly admits. The things you do for your friends, right? Or: Ilya Rozanov and Hayden Pike’s First Proper Meeting goes a little differently (but maybe not better)
