A—” “A baby,” Ilya finishes. “You are a grandmother now. Surprise.” “Sorry, did you—” Yuna pauses. They can hear David faintly in the background. “You mean, like, a baby animal? A puppy?” “A wishbaby,” Shane croaks. There’s silence on the other end of the line. “Surprise,” Ilya says again. Shane and Ilya win the Stanley Cup. They weren't exactly planning to also win a baby.
