He's mouthing at the first few buttons of his shirt like he wants to pop them open, his breathing growing ragged as he slips his hand under the fabric and digs his fingertips into the soft meat around Shane's hip. He's so close to where Shane's inner omega pitifully wants him. He has to stop the whine building on the back of his throat, willing his body to not move. “Ilya,” He says, barely above a whisper. We should stop, he needs to say. The beer slips from his fingers. It shatters, foam splashing his shoes, glass skittering away. His knees give out like someone kicked him, and his hands shoot forward to hold himself upright. His left palm lands in broken glass, though he doesn't feel it. What he notices is the certainty that everyone sees, that they can smell him—something sour and wrong. His scent, despite patches and care, has turned exposed. OR: What if we took the club scene from episode 4 and had Shane collapse from experiencing Omega Rejection Syndrome after seeing Ilya dancing with someone else?

All his life, Ilya has been pushed to want but only the right things and his heart cannot take the strain of his mind trying to bludgeon it into submission any longer, cannot take hit after hit like stick to puck demanding he should not and cannot desire Shane that way.
