Shane Hollander doesn’t do cheat days. Not with his training. Not with his diet. Not with his life. Then a ridiculously attractive Russian-Italian chef in Milano force-feeds him the best ravioli he’s ever had and calls him a good boy and things spiral from there. Between Olympic pressure, impossible expectations, and a connection neither of them is ready to name, Shane finds himself unraveling in ways he doesn’t understand.

Pyeongchang 2018 Olympics games are about to start and for the captain of the Russian hockey team, the pressure has never been higher. But the pressure from fans, still bitter over the debacle in 2014, can barely compare to that what Ilya feels inside, knowing this might be the last time he dons the white-blue-red jersey for the event, and hoping it will be worth it.
The last thing he has the time for is his best friend and for the next two weeks, competitor, Cliff Marleau, wanting to know everything about Ilya's and Shane's relationship. And Hayden Pike, who is, for whatever reason, always there.

Team Canada meets Ilya at the Olympics. Some are curious. Some are confused. Some remain oblivious. (Or do they?)
