When Scott Hunter ventured out on his balcony after the 2011 All Star Game, he only wanted to get some air. He didn't expect to overhear a couple of rookies having sex. He definitely didn't anticipate hearing his own name. But when Hollander catches him eavesdropping, Scott does the upstanding thing and offers his phone number in case the younger men ever have questions about being closeted hockey players. It's the least he can do, right? Anyway, he'll probably never get a text back.

    Probably...

AKA Scott Hunter listens to the mating call—perhaps a little too well.

Scott fears the wrath of Yuna Hollander. He does not need that woman to end his life before he gets to share the rest of it with Kip. It also makes him feel more and more like a parent. Oh god, did he just adopt two baby gays? “Yes,” he can hear Kip’s voice in his head, “yes we did.” Scott doesn’t know if he wants to laugh or cry.

It's the "We didn't even kiss" scene that's all you need to know. The first few hundred words cover scenes we’ve seen (the awards show, the bathroom) and then diverge. (og title was Teach Me How to Love.)
