  1. Shane Hollander is a former professional cyclist who now owns a bike shop in Colorado. Ilya Rozanov, the tattoo artist who owns the shop next door, thinks boy scout Shane Hollander should take a ride on his motorcycle instead. But what starts out as a casual fling can't stay that way for long--not once Shane and Ilya discover the depths of their chemistry (and Ilya the many benefits of little spandex shorts). Both of them have been hurt before, and the only way to move forward is to get over their pasts. It's a hill climb in both directions, but if Shane Hollander can do anything, it's push himself to endure the burn when he knows the ride home will be that much more satisfying.

  2. As a straight man, Ilya Rozanov has never had a gay roommate before, but it’s going pretty well. Shane Hollander is kind, silly, and an even bigger hockey nut than Ilya. So when Shane starts bringing men over, and Ilya begins to want to bash their fucking heads in, Ilya comes to a startling conclusion: He must be homophobic. (He’s jealous.)

  3. The knee-jerk response, obviously, is a big, fat no fucking way.

“Dude, c’mon,” Hayden says, slapping his arm. “It’s a rite of passage. You can’t break tradition or you’ll risk a bloodline curse.”

Shane goggles at his best friend. “You think that I, as a gay, Asian, autistic man, have concerns about following antiquated rites of passage? Or bloodline curses?”

“I think that you, as someone who has had the same warm-up routine and pregame rituals since they could sing their ABCs, would understand the value in following the rules.”

Ilya, obviously, says yes. He only lets the WAGs ask first because it’s proper etiquette and he would never do anything to disrespect his posse.

Or, before their wedding, the boys are morally and legally obligated to allow their friends to throw them a bachelor and bachelorette party, which are very different in nature but equally chaotic

She is very special to me.” He pauses, then, “So is her pretty pet sitter.” Shane’s jaw drops. or, shane is anya's dog walker and occasional pet sitter. her owner, on the other hand, makes being professional extremely difficult.
