“What were you doing in between one and four?”

Ilya clenches his jaw. He says nothing. Clearly, she smells blood.

“Mister Rozanov,” she leans forward, grabbing the desk as she enunciates, “what were you doing between one and four in the morning?”

Fucking Shane Hollander for the last time, it seems.

    Or

After an exhibition game in a small town, the Montreal Metros and the Boston Raiders find themselves trapped in a hotel by a dangerous snow storm. Ilya clenches his jaw. Shane is scared and he hates that there’s nothing he can do to fix it. Ever since the video landed in both their inboxes, neither of them has had a good night’s sleep.

    or

One year into their relationship a video risks exposing Shane and Ilya’s relationship. To protect their secret, they will need to do as the backmailers demand. But how far are they willing to go? And what if there’s more going on that meets the eye?

“I’m here. I’m here,” comes through, finally. “Sorry, just- I’m here. What do you need?”

“Just talk,” Ilya begs, not even caring how pathetic he sounds. “Please.”

“Okay, okay,” Hollander breathes. “You know. I keep thinking. This isn’t right. There’s something fucking wrong.”

    “I fucking know, Rozanov!”
