Shane Hollander spends the 2010 Prospect Cup Tournament in a small room, being questioned by police. He thinks that telling the truth will save him. Instead, he’s betrayed by his teammates and pushed to the forefront of a scandal that destroys his chances with any NHL team. Only one professional hockey league is willing to look the other way.

Desperate to play, Shane Hollander signs a contract with the KHL, packs his things, and moves to Russia.

Oh and they're attracted to each other but neither one of them made the first move before they're on a plane together, and suddenly they've got to spend 3 months living in the same apartment, in Russia, under the watchful eyes of Ilya's family and a team full of teenage hockey players...
