for Shane, it was always going to be about love by Anonymous

Shane Hollander has made all the right decisions. Putting hockey above everything, abstaining from cake and lemonade, and never kissing boys, especially Russian boys with crooked grins who always saw right through him. This restraint has secured Shane a legacy as one of the greatest players of all time. Everything he ever wanted, and somehow never enough.
Ilya Rozanov is long dead, lost to fire and water in a plane crash half a century ago. But at the end of his carefully controlled life, Shane can’t stop dreaming about him, haunted by echoes of what might have been.
Given a chance to change the past, Shane has to decide what really matters: hockey, or the only bad decision he was ever tempted to make.
or: fate and Irina Rozanov have unexpectedly romantic sensibilities, and some lovers (no, Ilya that’s gross) are meant to find each other in every universe.
time travel fix-it 💫 happy ending
