    “This is… something more than just a hook-up, right? It's not just me?” He chances a glance at Ilya who is watching him impassively.

    “Is special,” Ilya agrees, his voice so quiet that Shane almost doesn’t understand. “Is to me. Different. Better. I think," Ilya says after more prompting, “we do this again. I think would be nice to be together.”

    “Yeah.” Shane can't help but smile at the idea. Except― “But not public? Just―Until we figure out this whole professional hockey player thing, maybe?”

    “Okay," Ilya agrees easily. "Secret." He presses a short kiss to Shane’s lips. “For now.”

    “For now,” Shane echoes.
