Then it’s Friday night and Kip is on his way to his first ever client. He told his dad he has a new job pet-sitting to explain the weird hours and overnight absences that are about to occur, and felt more than a little guilty when George patted his shoulder and told Kip how proud he was of him for working so hard.

Well, he wouldn’t be proud of this, Kip thinks as he walks through the lobby of a fancy East Side apartment building. About to give the guy in the penthouse the boyfriend experience he booked. All 16 hours of it.

Kip finds a more lucrative side gig than smoothie barista. And then he finds Scott.
