"Five years ago Shane had brought up the idea of starting a family. They’d been married for a year at that point and it was a discussion that had previously included phrases such as: “Maybe we could-” “Someday, if we decide to-” “I don’t know, but if we did-” They’d talked about hypothetical children. Hypothetical arrangements they could make for when they needed childcare for a game or practice. How many, hypothetically, did they want? In theory, what kind of parents did they want to be? What would discipline look like? Would they try to get them into hockey? What if they didn’t like hockey?" --- Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov have been fathers for four-almost five years now. Every year the NHL posts a promotional 'Fathers' Day' video of famous players and their kids. Yuna finds out they've never been invited, and that simply will not do.

"Hockey rivalries make the game fun - for the players and for the fans. Nothing got your blood pumping like a good ole fashioned face off. It’s about more than just winning. It’s about honor. It’s about team loyalty. It’s about getting to shove your win in their face and blow raspberries like you’re five years old again. The darker side of rivalries involve unchecked reckless aggression. It ends in blood being spilt. Bones being broken. Players hauled off the rink into an ambulance. These are the sobering moments that make you snap out of it. It’s just a game. The fun is over. Someone’s hurt. " -- Shane's move to Ottawa unexpectedly causes a new rivalry to pop off and take over the NHL. He's been involved with rivalries his entire career, but this one might just take the cake.

Clips of Ilya Rozanov and his shenanigans have always been popular amongst online hockey fans. Over time though, the most popular ones include Shane Hollander and their antics on the ice. The two just have a natural chemistry that was endearing to watch - and the videos only grow more popular after the two come out. This leads Shane to ask two simple questions: why the hell is 'House Tour' always blasting from Ilya's phone and why does every video feature his fucking back arch? --- I keep getting funny hockey clips popping up in my feed. So naturally my next thought was: what if this was Hollanov?
