Summary:

When Ilya gets a text from Shane in the hospital that just says “I’m so sorry,” he has no idea what to think. He expects the worst, except he doesn’t know what the worst possibly is. Ten minutes later Ilya receives a text from a phone number without a contact. His heart seems to stop as he opens it. “Ilya Rozanov,” it reads, and then on another line, “this is Yuna Hollander, Shane Hollander’s mother. I’m inviting you to dinner at Montoya's at 5:30pm tonight. It is private and quiet. Please be there.” Shane accidentally spills the beans to his parents while high on pain meds and Ilya has to have dinner with them alone.
