I was scrolling on the tl and apparently some hockey romance novel is getting adapted?? And the streets are saying that the main character is sort of like shane hollander?

> marcie ! 24 defender @hollzypuck
please don’t mention riding the edge on voystwt, it’s a triggering subject for us all 😭

?? i’m new here, pls explain the lore

> > > marcie ! 24 defender @hollzypuck
it’s a really weird smutty book that inadvertently sexualizes shane. the main guy is literally shane hollander with a different name. elite player, youngest captain in montreal franchise history, golden boy, half-japanese half-canadian, same exact personality and looks… idk even if the character is somehow not inspired by shane hollander, then it’s kind of suspicious how similar they are…

Oh… that is weird as fuck

or; a straight hockey romance becomes the biggest show on the planet. The internet is convinced (correctly) that the male lead is 100% based on Shane Hollander. Too bad almost no one knows Shane Hollander is gay.
