When the news about Scott Hunter and his boyfriend is leaked to the media, Ilya Rozanov knows that he isn’t going to hear from Shane Hollander for a while. One phone call is all it takes to confirm that Boston Lily is officially on Montreal Jane’s list of blocked contacts. For Shane, Scott Hunter being outed is evidence of all his worst fears. For Ilya, Scott Hunter being out is a window into another world entirely - and he is determined to make that world his own. More than that, he is determined to share that world with Shane, no matter how long it takes.

or - Scott and Kip come out earlier. Ilya Rozanov loses his boyfriend, loses his father, and gives up his home. There’ll be a cottage, eventually.
