Summary:

A detailed look at Shane and Ilya's perspectives of seeing each other for the first time, as well as Ilya's perspective of their first interaction in the classroom. Spoilers: they're utterly enamoured by one another but are too afraid to admit it. This is a one-shot based on my original it's always been you. I highly recommend reading it first (at least up until the second chapter) to understand the context of this work.
