Summary:

Scott felt like his lungs were collapsing. He’d had the wind knocked out of him plenty of times, but tonight there had been no hit, no fall. His heart was pounding and his chest wouldn’t open up to let him get enough air. This had to be a heart attack. He must be dying.

He sank down onto the cold ground, hoping faintly that he’d landed somewhere out of the way. The last thing Scott needed was for Kip to be the one to find his body.
