Summary:

An AU where Shane and Ilya meet in very different circumstances. Ilya’s a generational talent, a star and recognised wherever he goes thanks to his talent on stage and the lucrative magazine and advertising contracts his fame brings him. He lives his life in Boston as best he can but recently someone has taken against him and while the threatening letters were unpleasant they didn’t bother him much. He was more bothered by the knife in his side that stopped him performing for months, but now he’s healed and due on stage in a few hours. He hopes he can still make it because he hadn’t been expecting a stranger with uncertain motives to approach him in a deserted alley. When he finds out exactly who he is his life gets much more complicated. Ilya Rozanov has various problems in his life but right now the most pressing one is the dark haired freckled man who’s crashed into his life.
