Ilya’s obviously aware that there’s something up with Shane, okay? No one who spent their formative years (as well as their twenties and thirties) obsessively watching Shane Hollander Best Goal YouTube clips could glimpse what was going on with the Metros last season and think that nothing had changed. He asked and asked over the summer months, and Shane denied and denied and denied to the point where Ilya had to wonder if Shane knew there was something up with himself. But that was silly.
