Summary:

When Ilya texts Shane that he's in the hospital with a concussion, Shane drops everything— including sleep—to drive from Montreal to Ottawa to spend a few hours making sure his boyfriend is alive and surviving. He arrives to find his parents already on watch, a drugged- up Ilya speaking Russian, and a night nurse who seems a little too interested in the concerned "friend" by the bedside.
