Summary:

Ilya never imagined himself waking up beside anyone for the rest of his life. Never imagined wanting to, longing for it so much and so hard it felt like he was either dying or going crazy. Never imagined he would share a forever with somebody. Not until that fateful 23rd of December 2008 in freezing Saskatchewan. Not until a thing as trivial and simple as freckles dusted on cold-kissed skin made time stop and the world start spinning. Not until this borning, and short, and pretty, and perfect and outstanding Canadian boy who everyone deemed some new hockey God extended his hand to him and stole his fragile heart. Not until Shane Hollander.
