Summary

Shane gets added to the Ottawa Centaurs' WAG group chat. Little do they know Jane is not Jane. And she's not going to be a WAG for much longer. Shane and Ilya come out to each of their friends, knowing they always have someone in their corner incase something goes wrong.

Lisa: Well it used to be the Ottawa WAG group chat but we’re trying to be more inclusive

It’s show week for my school’s musical, I am working on this but I fear it will be a while before the next chapter…

Here’s my schedule for the next two weeks: Monday, we were supposed to have dress rehearsal but school was canceled (hence why you all got this), Tuesday, dress rehearsal until 9pm, Wednesday, dress rehearsal until 9pm, Thursday-Saturday, shows until like 11/12pm, Sunday, strike in the morning for the show, concert in the evening for community band, Monday, two concerts for school until 9pm, Tuesday, rehearsal until 6pm + I need to pack for band trip, Wednesday-Sunday band trip, then I will hopefully have time to work on this, apologies 😔💔

Hoping to writing during the drive for the band trip since it’s like 12-14 hours I think but other than that… see yall in a while, I promise I didn’t forget lol… if I don’t post by April 3rd… maybe I forgot

Ilya and I met at the World Juniors in 2008. I felt something when I saw him but I didn’t know what it was. We met again during the draft in 2010. I had come to terms with thinking he was attractive by this point and pretty much watched him obsessively but I never thought I’d have a chance. Ever. Especially because I thought that Ilya was straight. I saw him in the showers after we did an ad campaign together and we came up with a mutual agreement to hookup in private. We thought it would be detrimental to our careers if anyone found out we were dating. We still do but we have put actions into place to prevent some of the backlash. After Scott and Kip came out, we thought something more could be possible. We made it official the summer before Ilya came to Ottawa. And now that we’re getting married this summer, I don’t want to have to hide my husband from the rest of the world. We want to come out after the wedding, we think pride might be a good time if you’re okay with that Lisa, I know Ilya was talking to Wyatt. But I will be transferring from Montreal to Ottawa next season and we will be out. So I won’t be a WAG for much longer. Also I don’t feel like rewriting this because I kind of want to cry but my real name is Shane Hollander if that wasn’t clear.
