Troy Barrett (like I said, repressed gay boy who hides his gayness through a shield off asshole) is friends with Kent cause he believes those are the types of guys he needs to hang around with to be "cool" or whatever. Yes. Because the last time Ilya Rozanov was seen with women was in like January 2017 and it's entirely reasonable to think that Shane and him did not get exclusive until some time around then. Here's a bit of me rambling:

I was planning on posting this much earlier, but I heavily underestimated how much time formatting this would take. Probably like ten hours, but I did have fun as well, so it wasn't that bad.

Might have gotten a little carried away with the F1 references in the end there... I apologize to anyone who isn't an F1 fan and doesn't understand 😔

My logic for this whole thing was inconsistent as hell. Like I refused to use F1 reaction pics that wouldn't have been out before the date of the posts (except for that Alex pic at the beginning), but for every other picture I didn't care. The language is also probably more 2026 accurate, but whatever, it all makes sense, just trust me.

I got this idea because firstly, I got attached to Troy while reading his book, and secondly, I got ragebaited by a top 5 horror movies: women, women... Tiktok. The comments were literally filled with people calling the original poster gay, and I was like: wouldn't it be funny to make this about Troy and have him answer to a comment years later to confirm his relationship? So this fic was born. Kerrett wasn't even the orignal idea 😭

Also had way too much fun making the pictures for the instagram posts on After Effects. Might have to do it more often.

It's diabolic how much time I (as a lesbian) had to spend looking through pictures of men on pinterest just to find pics that could fit into this fic.
