Notes

Written for Prompt 2 of the Word Scramble Challenge, using the seven letter word again!

And for Kiwi_kill3r, who was so excited about drabbles that I could not write anything other for the prompt weaving.

“What is this?”

“A scarf,” Shane supplied helpfully. He touched Ilya’s shoulder until Ilya looked up. “My grandma… weaving’s just a hobby, but when she learned that I had… a partner now…”

“She knows about me?” Incredulity was thick in Ilya’s voice. Thick enough to make the follow-up stick in his throat: she would hand-make me an item?

Shane’s expression event horribly soft. “Of course. She… it’s not that she doesn’t care about hockey, but she’s not a gossip, she won’t spill –”

“That is not –” Ilya started, but he lost track of what he was saying. “Thank you.”

“Of course.”
